Parking will be available in the Miller Building lower level parking lots.  Handicapped Parking is available behind Brockway Hall and you can utilize the handicapped entrance.

Cornell University Veterans Day Moving Tribute

Cornell Veterans Colleague Network Group and Cornell ROTC are coordinating a “moving” tribute with Cornell ROTC – run or walk the flag around campus from 10am to 4pm on November 11.

This opportunity is open to all Cornell students, staff, faculty, retirees, spouses/partners, who are veteran friendly and/or supporters of veterans. There will most likely be 4 flags in circulation. The idea is to keep the flags moving throughout campus between the hours of 10am to 4pm. You can sign up individually, with a friend, or with a group of people.

Ithaca College 14th Annual Veterans Day Celebration

Thursday 10 November – Noon to 1 PM @ Ford Hall in the Whalen Center

Keynote address by Sean Reid, Dean of the Ithaca College School of Business

Reid is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy who has spent the past three decades as an officer serving the country on active duty and in the reserves. Reid earned a B.S. in politics from the Naval Academy, an M.B.A. from Incarnate Word College, and a Ph.D. in finance from Rhode Island University. He previously taught at Salisbury University and the University of New Haven and has professional industry experience as an investment advisor and securities analyst with Integrity Global Asset Management.

A captain in the U.S. Navy Reserve, Reid currently serves in a number of management and advisory roles with the Office of Naval Research. He previously held administrative, training and research positions at the Naval War College and Navy Center for Personal and Professional Development. While on active duty, he served as a Naval Flight Officer and Aircraft Mission Commander during numerous overseas deployments — including Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm — and was a flight instructor.
