Monday, October 16, 2017 – Unifying Leadership in Adverse Times – 7pm, Emerson Suites, Phillips Hall, Ithaca College
Ithaca College is pleased to invite you to hear a free talk by Capt. William B. Reynolds III, on Monday, October 16. He will speak on leadership in a presentation titled “Unifying Leadership in Adverse Times.”

During a deployment in Iraq, Will Reynolds was wounded by an IED, eventually losing his leg above the knee. After medically retiring from the Army, he earned his M.B.A. and joined Deloitte, where his focus is on health care. He was a founding board member for Team Red, White and Blue, and Outdoor Adventures for Sacrifice in Service (OASIS) Adaptive Sports. He currently serves on the board for Disabled Sports USA, EquiCenter (Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies), the Positivity Project (positive psychology character mentorship for youth), and US Military Endurance Sports. Will is married to Cassandra, with four children: Malachi (8), Gabrielle (6), Genevieve (4), and Evangeline (2).

Thursday, October 26, 2017 – Take It Outside – meet at Patio outside Nevins Center – from 4:30 to 6:30 PM.
Calling all Cornell military, veterans, family and friends…Are you looking for a group to enjoy nature with?  Need a little push to get more active?  Enjoy nature and meet other Cornell military, veterans, family and friends on an easy 1 ½ mile walk around the scenic Cornell Botanic Gardens.  Get introduced to this natural wonder in the heart of the Cornell campus, perfect for running, hiking, sledding, snowshoeing and other active sports as well as relaxing picnics or leisurely strolls.  This event will include an introduction to the new partnership between Cornell Outdoor Education and the Sierra Club Military Outdoors and an opportunity to meet Cornell’s first undergraduate veteran coordinator.
What to bring:  Water bottle, comfortable closed toed shoes, comfortable walking clothes, sunscreen and/or bug spray, rain gear if necessary
